Statement of Faith
The following information has been provided to help you understand what we as a people of faith believe. It is based upon the Bible as our sole source of authority in determining doctrine and practice. While this information is provided for you, in no way should it ever replace the Word of God in establishing our theology. We are people of the Word – not of creed or of man’s interpretation of the Word. This information is not meant to be all-encompassing and there may be other issues about which you have questions.
GSF Church is a Christian church which is not affiliated with any denomination or organization. We are led by a pastoral team. Our mission is to make disciples (fully-devoted followers) of Jesus Christ. We believe that happens when we know God through Jesus Christ and:
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

We believe in one God revealed as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the virgin birth and the deity of Jesus Christ, that He was fully God and fully man.

We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

We believe that man, created in the image of God, by voluntary disobedience fell into the depths of sin.

We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly through grace.

We believe in the commandment of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord.

We believe in observing the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, an experience following conversion, and that His incoming is after the same manner as in the days of the Early Church.

We believe in the Spirit-filled life, that it is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit moment by moment.

We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows enabling ministry gifts upon believers; and that we should show spiritual “fruit” as evidence of a Spirit-filled life.

We believe that divine healing is the power of Jesus Christ to heal the sick in answer to the prayer of faith.

We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent.

We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers.

We believe that all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

We believe that heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers.

We believe that hell is the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior.

We believe that tithing and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing.
